Hi All, I wonder if anyone else has had dealings with JB Cutting tools.com They seem to suggest that they supply British made Lathe cutting tools. Have placed an order, they have taken my money,,,,No goods received and no reply to emails sent. Staring to get a little concerned. Order placed 11th Oct no contact or goods since! Gary |

537 forum posts 88 photos | Have bought plenty off them direct at Rufforth Auto jumble over the years, they had a stall there once a month. ( Maybe still do, ive not been in a while) Very nice people, used to be an older couple, but think the kids took over. Always helpful, and no complaints about their wares or prices from me. Have you tried phoning them ? |

7517 forum posts 20 photos | The bits I bought from them today, at Warwick, did not particularly claim to be made in Britain. One item had Mitsubishi plastered over it - well at least the packaging did. So far a satisfied customer, but clearly yet to try them out. ‘Seem to suggest’, to me is a bit ‘woolly’ to say the least. Maybe read again, whatever you think you read, and be a little more certain? Edited By not done it yet on 18/10/2018 21:09:42 |

438 forum posts 2 photos | +1 for good service from JB. Both the older couple (no insult intended!!) were on duty today on their stall at the Midlands Show so no apparent problems. JB has been a fixture at ME and similar shows for some years and appear to have many regular and satisfied customers, including myself. +1 for giving them a ring after the show finishes on Sunday to sort what is hopefully a minor hiccup. ![]() 19226 forum posts 749 photos 86 articles | Their phone number is on the website, you need to scroll down and click 'contact information': www.jbcuttingtools.com/epages/es461493.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/es461493/Categories/Imprint JB have a very good reputation, but they will be at the Midlands show all weekend and they may be planning for Monday off. I'm 100% sure they aren't the sort to take your money and do a runner. It may be something has gone astray, it can happen to anyone, but I'm sure if you email or phone on Tuesday they will get back to you. Neil Edited By Neil Wyatt on 18/10/2018 21:34:19 |

![]() 2947 forum posts 468 photos | Can only concur with others, +1 for JB cutting tools. Have bought from them at last years Doncaster ME show & via post over the years, never had any probs with them. Give them a call after this weeks show, I'm sure there will have been a delay due to show preparation or a simple oversight. George.

728 forum posts 90 photos | Absolute Beginner : I simply can't accept that there are grounds for believing J B Tools are messing you about, it's not credible. I've got no connection with them other than as a satisfied customer of many years standing, and have always found Jenny and her husband absolutely delightful to deal with. This is a simple oversight or an email has got lost (it happens!). Can I suggest someone brings this to the attention of Jenny tomorrow at the show - I know she'll want to sort it urgently. I'd do it myself but I'm not planning to go 'til Sunday. Can't speak highly enough of them. Rgds Simon |

[ ... ] ‘Seem to suggest’, to me is a bit ‘woolly’ to say the least. Maybe read again, whatever you think you read, and be a little more certain? . As an impartial observer ... I've just seen this on the homepage: It's difficult to read any ambiguity into that. MichaelG. |

1504 forum posts 142 photos | MichaelG I was just going to point that out , you beat me to it. It may, just possibly, be a definite, even a positive, statement. OP At the bottom of every "page" of the website there is a row of items. This includes 'Contact information' - click on that and you can email, phone, or write to them. |

You will please notice it makes no mention of where the inserts are made, only tools, bars, blades etc. . As a random check, I selected this: **LINK** http://www.jbcuttingtools.com/epages/es461493.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/es461493/Categories/%22Turning%20inserts%22/General_Purpose_Inserts/DNMG I then did as suggested, and 'looked out for the logo' ... at the bottom of the page I found a teeny little Union Flag

1505 forum posts 56 photos | They definitely won't be able to answer the phone before Monday, since they're at the Midlands show. They really are a 'small family' firm, with Jenny and hubby being nearly all of it. They'll get back to you. Just give them time to get past the show.
No relationship to them, but did pick up a few more sharp pointy things from them and have a nice chat today! |
