Other hobbies are bell ringing - I've just got in from one of the tower practices that I go to - modified cars, and cycling. That makes at least 3 bellringers on this forum. I'm in Oxfordshire (there is another ringing Brian Curtis in the New Forest area), although I'm somewhat lapsed at the moment) and I believe Julian Atkins is also a ringer. Where's your home tower? Rochester Cathedral, where I learnt over thirty years ago and returned to 3 years back after a long break. |

![]() 2314 forum posts 139 photos | BELL RINGERS!!!!!!!! We live next door to the church and, whilst we don’t mind the bells for Sunday service and weekly practice, we certainly don’t appreciate the competitions! Most recently was a bout from 3pm to 8pm on a Saturday. I doubt most folk would appreciate the same tune played at maximum volume for 5 hours It is a bit better since we renewed the double glazing but after a while the poor dog just sits and howls. Other interest is photography. Norman

![]() 963 forum posts 2 photos | XD 351, the guides were Fuij, I like the ceramic inlays. I decided to treat myself so went top shelf on all the components, the guides were not cheap but no regrets btw, The only thing that gave me more satisfaction was tying a fly that actually a fooled a dumb trout and my little X3 mini-lathe and X2 mill made it possible to manufacture a decent fly tying vice. Here is another trout from the lake. * Danny M *
