![]() 963 forum posts 2 photos | Lol, prices keep dropping - I recently purchased an ultrasonic cleaner from Aldi for $25Au. It does the same job of cleaning my cartridge cases as the 'Name Branded' one from the local firearms dealer which retailed for $149Au. Same specs, same transducer, different badge. Might just give this one a go - It would be nice if it could print in wax. Hey, Neilo, Australia is often used by some outlets as a 'test case' for consumer acceptance of new toys. * Danny M *

![]() 19226 forum posts 749 photos 86 articles | Just fed my Alddiction. L:ED movement sensor lamps were £6.99, as I already have a smaller one inside the workshop door and its really useful I thought I'd get another. This one has EIGHT(!) Maxell AAs in it instead of three AAAs so I suspect it will last even longer than the year I get out of the other one. Also wire strippers for 1.99 - less successful as the brass adjustment screw is too tight to move by hand, but I looks like it's an M5 thread so I can sort that. Neil |

2661 forum posts 294 photos | I also indulged in a lidl-bit of a buy-up while my car was being sorted in the adjoining toyota dealership... another clip-light plus more cheap tools (they tend to get carried about the farm in the rain and used for opening tins so cheap is better) |

Anyhow, with 6013 rods you whould be alright at 75Amps for 2.5mm rods. 2.5mm 7018 wouldn't be nice, Don't know it you can easily get 2mm ones though.
Back to Aldi, I'm hoping to pop in to our one tomorrow to get hold of one of their needle scaler guns. I've got a surface grinder coolant tank that's got a thick layer of steel grit that I allowed to dry out. It's impossible to get out with the pressure washer, so I hope to rattle it loose |

![]() 6137 forum posts 893 photos | Got the Drill driver as a scissors car jack driver and nut remover thinking that the electronic torque control would make it good for puncture and car lifting work, as well as drilling screws nuts etc Big mistake, the torque control is truly awful, it's actually bluddy dangerous because this is an amazingly powerful cordless drill with no decent safe torque control so squashed fingers and twisted hands are a definite risk So it's fabulous for drilling into steel and screwing 400 3 inch screws into decking but don't ever use it in a torque gun type situation I would have sent it back but for 50 quid its the most ridiculously powerful cordless drill I've ever come across |
