Hi Ramon

I don't know if this is the answer but it may be possible to achieve if you upload to an album first.

I posted an image in the middle of last month to an album and have now put a link to this post.  Enlargement works with this.

Cheers

Norman

Hi There

You should always load to the album and then insert the image.

Always leave a blank line (carriage return) after each photo or they will mess the page up and the adverts will appear over the text.

regards David

Hi Ramon, I have always been a little envious, but not maliciously, of anyone who had any Meccano when they were kids. Meccano was out of our parents price range when myself and my brothers and sisters were kids, but got to play with some occasionally when visiting one of my cousins.

Brilliant piece of work, and like Terry says the distressing magnificent and makes it all look as if it has been lovingly played with. Keep the pictures coming.

Regards Nick.

Hi Ramon,

If you right click on a picture and chose view, it comes up full size and undistorted, regardless of how the website displays it, at least in firefox.

This allows a closer look at your pics here, but they are still a wee bit small.

Hi,

I'm using XP Pro SP3 and Firefox, and to enlarge, I place the cursor in the picture of interest, right click and select View Image. This, for these photos at least, give an enlarged image with no text or anything else. Then, by using Ctrl+ (number keypad +) I can enlarge up to the limit of the screen, albeit with an insignificant amount of blurring.

To return to the text, use the back arrow, top left corner.

Regards,

Peter G. Shaw

Hi all,

As Peter Shaw says, you can 'right click' on picture and 'view image' (in XP with FireFox at least - not sure about other systems). If you then wish to see it larger, just position mouse cursor over picture, hold down Control key (Ctrl) and use mouse wheel to zoom in and out. They enlarge very well Ramon - well done.

Best regards,

Terry

Thanks gents, the 'right click' and 'open picture' works also in Opera.

Is there a chance (in England I suppose) for this car to get the legal papers and licence to run on public streets? Here - no chances for that I think.

Greetings, Hansrudolf

Hi Guys, thanks for the input. I did make an attempt to create an album on here yesterday but was torn between doing so and trying to finish off part of a new I/C engine. Guess which won smile

Apart from the very first few pics I posted on here which are in albums all the images posted are stored on Picasa web albums and I'm used to that and it works well. Now Neil, Terry and Peter have pointed out the easiness with which they can be enlarged I'll stick with that for now.

On that note then heres a few more.......

This should give an idea of the 'scale' of things

The bonnet slides out to the front then pivots up and forwards

As said before the hood is made from glass fibre - I don't know if you can see it but it's all textured like 'rexine' but as far as I know it wasn't made in a mould. Heaven knows how he does it

Well I think you should have got the gist of this awesome 'model' by now. At the moment it's not cleared for running on a public road but who knows what might come later?

Nick - I can sympathise though I did have a set No 3 on my fourth Xmas just before by fifth birthday (early Jan) Ha I was one of those un?fortunate kids who realised far too early there was no such thing as Santa - I found it well before Xmas tucked in the back of a wardrobe. I did later have a 4 which if I remember correctly later got made to a 5 with a '4a' set - is that right you Meccano guy's. I confess though when at age eleven I saw my first stick and tissue model aircraft Meccano took an immediate back seat and never did recover it's status as No 1 interest

Andy, Thanks - yes full recovery and back up running. When are you coming overwink

Guys' I guess we can call this to an end at this point as you should have a good idea of it by now - I'm pleased to  say however it's nice to see that you've enjoyed seeing it as much as I have

Regards - Ramon
