![]() 1531 forum posts 44 photos | Now that Maplin (the original Maplin that is) is no longer in business, where can I get a short length of preferably black 1/2" or 12mm diameter heat shrink tubing. By short, although I only need about 150mm, I expect to have to buy 1 metre, and certainly not a 25m reel! Ta, Peter G. Shaw

Worth watching for - and even better, it can go on the grocery bill Regards, IanT Edited By IanT on 20/12/2019 21:38:51 |

Purely out of curiosity, please could you re-phrase what you meant to say. I assume it has something to do with heat shrink sleeving, but darned if I can see what Ian P |

![]() 1531 forum posts 44 photos | Hi, Thanks to all for your replies. I've had an offer of some f.o.c which I will be taking up, but the variety of places recommended, including Lidl(!) has astounded me. FWIW, Lidl has recently opened in our nearest town, and they do keep sending me emails - which I then dutifully delete. Perhaps I need to pay more attention. Peter G. Shaw |
