More about me:

Retired toolmakers and service engineer. Always available to give advice and support if I can. Age 67. Apprentice engineer at Hermitage Engineering. for first 5 years after school.  I was a motorcyclist and took up road racing for a few years and working in a bespoke motor bike manufacturer and then when I gave that up (costs to high) went back to engineering manufacturing and spent some time making special purpose machinery, sweet manufacturing machines for Bassett, card cutting and handling machines for Waddington's. I also got involved in Investment casting tooling including hip joint dies and turbine blades for Rolls Royce etc. Then with the start of CNC machines and my flexibility I got co-opted into sorting out and repairing Mills and lathes etc. I also got involved with the manufacturing of robot handling tooling for the plastic mould tool industry making special grip place and fit hands for robots on a production line.
