Just make sure your chosen browser also lets you gain admin access to your router before you need to. It's a bit of an issue if you can't get on-line before doing something vital to the router, but being off-line stops you downloading an appropriate browser. I also useChrome, Firefox or Dolphin Jetpack on my Android, depending on which displays the web site best at the time. Bill |

I actually like Microsoft Edge, as supplied with Windows 10. OK, I'll go and crawl back under my stone.................. Not heresy at all Mike. Unlike Internet Explorer, Edge has had some very positive reviews. If I was Windows 10 only I'd seriously consider it, but only after checking the privacy settings and switching Cortana off. One negative is the shortage of plug-ins but even there the more desirable Ad Blockers are available. For what it's worth I prefer Firefox. It does an excellent job on both Windows and Linux and has a consistently good track record across a balance of features, plug-in availability, security, performance, compatibility, resource consumption and reputation etc. When comparing browsers it's worth remembering that their relative qualities vary with time and that temporary overtaking is common. That surprised me as well at first but then I realised that I often browse websites on my tablet or smartphone using the built in default browser. Those browsers show up as Chrome or Safari.
