![]() 3357 forum posts 112 photos 10 articles | Following discussions with management, they have agreed to allow me to offer a specially selected one off subscription gift to all readers including overseas readers. This is a one off test offer to evaluate the benefits of offering overseas subscription gifts. We may or may not offer further overseas gifts in the future but this is unlikely to happen with every issue in any case. This valuable gift is priced on the Arc Euro Trade website at : 040-010-00100 drill chuck @ £12.31 040-015-00400 drill chuck arbor @ £12.97 This is a sensitive drill feed parallel arbor and matching 4mm chuck valued at £25.28 . You hold the arbor in the tailstock chuck or the milling machine collet and feed the drill into the work using a knurled knob on the shaft. You will find this little attachment indispensable when drilling small holes in the workshop. In fact, you could even use it in the drilling machine. Please note that you get the arbor and the drill chuck. I will post the subscription offer link and code as soon as it is available.
The subscription gift is totally free. However, due to the high cost of postage there will be a small postage charge for the gift to overseas readers. UK readers will get the gift post free as normal This charge will appears as subscription price + gift postage. Many overseas readers have emailed me to say they would like a gift and would be prepared to pay the extra postage. In fairness to UK readers the same offer will be available to you as well as to Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada and anywhere else worldwide. No doubt someone will complain about the extra postage but this is necessary to send you this valuable gift. I do hope you will take us up on this genuine offer even if your subscription has a few months to run. Note: you must quote the reference code to get the free gift. No code, no gift. regards David Editor of Model Engineers' Workshop Edited By David Clark 1 on 30/10/2013 10:01:07 |

![]() 2314 forum posts 139 photos | Hi David Oh *******!! - I've already got one! However I can attest to its usefulness! Very good for use with those very small drills that are all too easy to break when winding in with the tailstock handwheel or feeding with the handle of the drilling machine. Bad timing by me again! ![]() 3357 forum posts 112 photos 10 articles | Hi JasonB The subscription will renew at the going rate + the nominal postage cost. UK is post free. As far as I am aware you can extend any subscription at the current rate and get the gift. As long as you quote the code. Note, it is Model Engineers' Workshop only, not Model Engineer. regards David |
