More about me:

I have a small workshop, 10' x 8'. Have got ML Super - 7, "Sharp" small horizontal and vertical mill, a Dore-Westbury MK1 mill, Fobco "Star" bench drill, Sievert propane eqpt., 4" belt + disc sander, Warco band saw, lots of usual hand tools. Adept hand powered shaper, not used much for obvious reasons, Many projects on the go, some making progress but many not! Sweet Pea is held up while I make pipe bending tool, as my pet hate is seeing badly bent piping on other peoples locos. Nearly finished Guy Lautard s T & C grinder. So disappointed, GL tells me that he will not now be doing another book on the subject of stamping nos., characters so have major project to make my own system which is taking time but coming to fruition.  BTW, am 75+ and live in Sussex. Have been writing articles for "The Lobby", Brighton & Hove SMLE quarterly newsletter for some years now, about my workshop. Having to 'get finger out' and finish off all the many roundtoits so I can write about them! Now they've 'punished' me with Treasurers job, so now very busy boy! Think I must now be in my 5th year stint as Treasurer.
