David

I've used my iPad for several posts now. Some of the photos come out upside down at times, not sure why. If you flip them they still look the same on the iPad but they then appear the right way up in your album. Like yours, mine is full of grandchild photos.

Hi Peter

About 3 months.

Not proud.

I am not a grandchild person.

As my wife says, I should not have had kids.

Work comes first, always has, always will.

Only photos I had on the IPAD were the wife's.

regards David

Hi Bob

Was the Ipad upside down when you took the original photo?

It can take them whichever way it is up.

Have you tried taking a photo sideways to see if it uploads sideways?

regards david

David,

Perhaps I phrased my question badly

I need to know how to upload photos from iPad.

As I understand it; we can only insert photos into a thread from our Albums ... but I cannot add photos to my Album using the iPad. [Mine is the original iPad, which has no built-in camera; I have hundreds of photos on it, but cannot transfer any of them to the Forum]

Does this only work with the later models of iPad ???

Well at least you haven't spit your dummy out wink

Was down in Fareham today on a call, rang you but you had mobile switched off, could have murdered a cuppa.

I haven't tried a side ways, just been trying to work out the upside down thing. My iPad has a camea. If I select edit photos, add photos , choose file, I get the option to take a photo or select an existing. I've been selecting photos of my ipad camera roll. Trade your old iPad in for one with a camera.

Hi All

Do we have to have theads like this that are not relevent to Model Making. The reason for saying this is it moves Questions out of the latest posts never to be seen again. As an example I posted a question on the Warco WM16 and never got one reply. The only way I can see to make it visable again is to re-asked the question or answer my own thread. Or could the Web Site have a link to un-answered questions????

Hi Fred

You only have to cilck on 'More postings' under the list of latest posts and they are all there. I think a lot of people bookmark this page rather than the Home page.
**LINK**

You can't link to unanswered questions, specifically.

Hi Fred,

Commenting on your own question to get it back to the top is called 'bumping' and is an accepted practice if indulged in with moderation.

On another forum recently and I noticed they actually had a 'bump thread' button!

Hi There

This was a test thread and never intended to remain but as it is being commented on, I have left it.

It will die naturally.

Hi Michael

I don't see why you can't load photos from an Ipad without a camera.

If the photo is on the computer (Ipad) you shopuld be able to load it to an album.

Re OP. We never had "dummies" (comforters) during the war - they used all the latex in tyres for Spitfires!

Not so, David frown

I think this functionality only came in with iOS_6, which doesn't run on the original iPad.

If I try to add photos to one of my albums on the forum, I can't browse the iPad.

If anyone knows of a workaround, I would love to hear !!
