I HATE cryptic crosswords, but think I have got this one. Nonsense could mean scrambled, in which case this thread is about Acrow props.

Maybe moderators blew Mr Stark's barge clean out of the water with a broadside of all the 16 in guns..........

Could be a relative of Tony Stark AKA IronMan portrayed here by Robert Downey Jr.- well, he IS an engineer...

Or there's a chap in Bristol of that name.

I'm as confused as the rest of you really.

A couple months ago I blocked someone's posts. Never done it before but I can't remember who and why and can't see anything on the controls that tell me. What happens if someone you block starts a thread? does it come up like this with the first post missing?

Yep first post I see is Rik's and you can't un-ignore member either.

You can see who you are ignoring by going to 'My posts' in the top green bar and click on ' My Ignored Members' at the top of that page, I don't know but think that may then allow you to un-ignore, can't be sure as I don't have anyone in my list. As with a lot of this forum, not the most obvious or intuitive place to put that list!

The reason is one of the other moderators has been active, I'll leave them to deal with it.

.

If you log-out, and then look at the forum anonymously; you should see the posts from your ignored member.

But, of course, if it was me that you blocked ... you may not be seeing this angel

Unless this thread was from someone ‘ignored’ by most of the forum regular responders, that is not the reason for non viewing. I suspect it was a spam posting that was removed but leaving a gap of sorts.

Edited to add:

Jason said - I'll leave them to deal with it

Give him(?) a break, sort it for them and avoid their embarrassment.🙂
