![]() 19226 forum posts 749 photos 86 articles | From an email I was copied into: 4542 is up on all 3 digital platforms - the community site, pocketmags and magzster. It was slightly later than normal. The I had some issues connecting to the digital server and uploading the issue initially but was live on the community site last week. I couldn't load it onto pocketmags until I had the description/sample pages etc (due to holidays etc) this one just ran slightly late. All sorted now and will make sure 4543 goes up on time. If paper copies are late please contact the subscriber support team using the contact details near bottom right of each page. "For subscription issues please see THIS LINK." Neil |

1585 forum posts 1 photos | MEW246 arrived this morning with Arceuro catalogue. Ketan said above that he knows several people around the country have got 246. Well I expect they have ordered from his catalogue which was included. ME 4542 arrived a few days ago - cannot remember exactly when. Changed buses @ Churchill Sq.in Brighton today so I could check WH Smith. No MEW, 2 of ME4542, 2 of EIM, 4 of Narrow Gauge World, all of which I subscribe to. Edited By DMB on 07/09/2016 23:21:33 |

![]() 694 forum posts 2 photos | My copy of MEW 246 arrived by post yesterday. I have not had a chance to read any of the articles yet but they look very good and interesting. What really pleased me was the inclusion of Arc's catalogue 10 which is excellent. My old issue 9 is now very dog-eared and out of date. These Arc catalogues are the best that I have ever seen for model engineers - full of good and reliable kit and very informative. I particularly like the new pages at the back giving essential data for the identification of the various tapers etc. Thank you MEW and Ketan. Eric |

Just had to re activate my pocketmags subscriptions again. And no MEW 246 on this site. Come on guys get it sorted Bruce Bruce I've had a problem with my ME pocketmags setting to not active repeatedly over the last few days, I emailed them and they have now sorted the problem, if it persists I suggest you contact them through the pocketmags site to get it sorted. Neil as of this morning on Pocketmags there is no 4542 Yet they are using the front cover of 4542 if you search "Model Engineer" Edited By JasonB on 08/09/2016 08:25:18 |

![]() 19226 forum posts 749 photos 86 articles | Our posts have crossed Jason. Either something happened in the last 3 minutes or you are looking in the wrong place? Or do you mean it hasn't automatically downloaded yet? I have no idea why the Archive copy of 246 isn't up yet, it usually beats the posted copies by a day or two. I will chase. In the meantime, anyone with a digital sub can view it through pocketmags app etc. **LINK** Neil Edited By Neil Wyatt on 08/09/2016 08:25:59 Edited By Neil Wyatt on 08/09/2016 08:27:01 |

4 forum posts | Issue 246 of MEW is not showing up on pocketmags for me. Either the reader I usually us on my PC or from the pocketmags website. The archive shows the front cover of 246 but times out when I try and read it from the model engineer site. With these issues with pocketmags and what I have experienced over the last 10 months. Including loosing all access to one issue pocketmags originally downloaded. I will very seriously consider not renewing the subscription if model engineer can not find a better platform than pocketmags.

20 forum posts 2 photos | I received my print copy of ME over a week ago now & I did enquire as to the whereabouts of the download via the "contact us" facility within the app. I received a prompt reply saying that the magazine was late & would be uploaded shortly but that was on the Friday before the bank holiday & I've heard nothing since. I received my download of MEW yesterday afternoon but as yet no ME 4542. I to have been invited to buy the online copy of 4542 when I searched for it within the pocketmags app but its not available to me yet as a download. Ok its late! Its forgiveable once in a while, but what isn't is that there's been no communication about it. That needs to improve. I too find the pocketmags app to be less than satisfactory. Prior to using it I used the Newsstand APP on the iPad & found that to be atrocious, causing the iPad to freeze regularly. An enquiry prompted a response from Neil advising use of the pocketmags app & that has proved to be an improvement but it's still less than perfect. The iPad still freezes & has to be reset (soft reset) but it still reoccurred again a week or so later. I did do a hard reset also but that only improved matters for a short while so the app isn't perfect by any means.

![]() 19226 forum posts 749 photos 86 articles | My internet went down on Sunday night (along with several neighbours it transpires). I'm working using a dongle and am not able to monitor the forum all the time but I am not able to respond in as timely as fashion as normal - I had no access at all until mid-Tuesday. It IS best to use the contacts HERE as soon as you become aware of an issue, but don't be afraid to let us know through the forum or by email. Most problems reported on the forum only affect one person and it needs few reports before it becomes clear it is a general issue. To sum up, both digital and print issues of magazines have been delayed as a hangover from the Bank Holiday and compounded by a change of staff. This has now all been sorted. Anyone who has not yet received their paper issue of ME 4542 (I think it is only George Ray who still hasn't got their paper copy?) had best assume it has gone missing in the post and contact customer support for replacement. This leaves the Pocketmags issue which we are trying hard to get sorted. Neil |
