The activity feed is useful, but the ads over posts bug is back - in the 'my posts' section. Its easier to find reprints of old specials (under features) and easier to find the archive under 'magazines' in the bar across the top.

Mostly it's just nicer colours.

If you click on 'Archive' (White letters on Black Bar) ... it takes you the the "Online Archive" purchase page at £29,99 .... Has this subscription bee re-introduced? (Perhaps they are going to bundle it with the paper copy again ....I can hope)

What's happened to archive access? The tab just takes me to a subscription page. I should still have access until my current sub ends.

I haven't changed the Archive access link, can one of you tell me what you thought was there before please? Your digital issues are accessed through 'Magazines' (White on Green in the top bar above the logo)

I will go and fix My Postings now, that must have been broken previously, as that page hasn't changed either.

Bazyle Have you clicked on the "Magazines" tab in the green banner at the top of the page when you're logged in?

Found it thanks. However in the box on the main forum page with my name in it top right which used to be top left there used to be a number of clickable sub sections which is how I used to find archives. It also had a flag for new messages, album access and some others I think.

I also notice a section on " join the website". Was this always thus? I find it confusing since nobody ever joins a website (well I never have) , they join a forum which happens to be a website.

Most of the links which used to be on the top right are now in the green bar, but you will get a flag for new messages in both places.

The 'join the website' has always been named as such, but it was less obvious. Some of our websites don;t have forums, and yet they still have members, so I think the wording is debateable in both places and different cases.

Still can't transfer photos from album, I get a blank page with three or four black dots top left. Using windows 7 with IE.

I'll have a look at that Ian, but Windows 7 and IE works for me. I have posted this message with that combination, and insert from album works.

Have you tried clearing your cache? Clearing your cache. is it possible that you blocked the pop up window, or minimised the insert photo popup so that is very small?

Have you got compatibility view switched on (blue) as it should be off (grey), and that might be the problem

Seems to be pretty much the same for me except everything has moved to the left hand side

For anyone wanting to bookmark a -summary of all new posts page- click on "latest posts" at the top of the thread and bookmark it

Saves you trawling through the site for new stuff

The layout looks much improved and less cluttered and yes, it gets my vote.

I have only had a quick look but why is there so much blank white space around the content?

I presume is for some sort of compatibility but using XP and Chrome on a 1280x1024 monitor in full screen thare are white spaces on boteh sides, and on the top. That does not seem right.

Since we read from left to right, I have always found it easy to look at Latest Posts (on the left) make my selection and read, now its all back to front

Call me old fashioned but to me it's not an improvement Maybe I was used to the old layout and now I've got to look for things It's like Asda moving their shelves round everyother week

Ian P, there is a space at the top for a banner ad, which isn't ready yet. The space at the sides is as it was previously

KWIL, I'm sorry that you don't like latest posts being at the right, but I don't think there is much likelihood of this changing to the left.

Roy, I understand what you mean, but you will get used to it quite quickly.

Versaboss, if the black links are very offensive to you, I can change them to blue

Ziggar, nothing has changed this morning that could have affected your digital access, are you using the correct link. Your magazines can be found by using the white 'Magazines' link in the green bar at the top. If this doesn't work for you, then there must be a separate access issue and I will investigate it for you
