Is anyone else having problems inserting an image from their album "My Photos" into posts using the little camera icon.

Have tried several times today and all I get is a box with some little dots in it.

A few more bits

Well, that works here (on Firefox) but as I have been pointing out for a long time the site is full of syntax errors so the performance is bound to be unpredictable. MTM don't seem to want to do anything about it. Another case of b****r the customers, we'll ignore them.

Hopefully a new template will solve, not cause errors.

The word 'template' suggests they change the interface, not the underlying content/database so my guess is that our posts are safe...

Is there a reason why I still can't transfer photos from my album, when I click on the wee cameraI get theusual page, with the two coloured blocks bottom right. At the top left I get three or four black dots in a horizontal line at the top of the colluum of the titles of the photos, no more, hope this will improove in a little while. Ian S C

Ian if you are desperate then you can get round it by viewing the photo in your album and then copying the url, you can then put it in your post as a link.

I think the boffins must have gone home early for a long bank holiday weekendsad

I am having the self same problem today as Ian S C & everyone else... blank box, no album titles, dots etc ... if this is the new template then it's rubbish ! ... I'd rather put up with the old system & suffer a few ads over text, at least I could post pics,

A Very disgruntled...

It worked ... but I couldn't then use "Edit Post" to say so.

The Edit screen would not scroll.

Our good old friend compatability view seems to do the trick as to whether I get the full image posting window of just the box with dots, vista and IE9

Hi, well here's my attempt.

Cobra Mill and Bespoke Stand

I'm using IE9 with Vista and compatability mode is off and have inserted the photo using the camara icon in the same way as I always do.

Haven't seen a box with black dots.

Regards Nick.

P.S. edit post is also working OK.

I was getting the same as mechman48 when I started this thread, and it's still the same.

I can only suggest what Nick has done, check the 'compatability' mode, I checked mine when I rebooted & it was off (unchecked) so..? go to your 'tools' tab click & you will get a drop down list..look for 'compatability view' & 'compatability view settings'.. make sure that both are unchecked.. that should cure it.. hope this helps.

Well not quite back, the preview photo against the list does not show, and you have to get all the text in before you transfer the photo, could be worse, could be better. Ian S C

The screen after clicking the camera has gone back to the same as mechman48's piece above, something needs a good kick. Ian S C
