Hi Diane

I submitted a short article on mods to a small milling machine for MEW, which was accepted, but not published. It may have been early 2010, I think. About the same time, I sent details of i/c engine, Rina, published in ME, starting vol 204, No 4372.

Regards

Diane,

Perhaps it might be an idea to say why we should contact you.

Diane -

I have an article I am working on which I hope to finish in the next few weeks - I usually send them direct to David - has that changed?

Regards,
Tony

Why bizarre, one assumes that all the posters above have also done as Diane requested and responded by e-mail so its likely they got a reply by e-mail.

To let you understand, David Clark is suffering intermittent bouts of quite severe illness. He is doing his best to get some work done when he can but, presently, this amounts to an occasonal hour or two here and there. In addition he is moving house today so a lot of original documents are in transit. These two matters are, together, causing some difficulties. In order to keep magazine production flowing as best I can I am requesting of all authors that they re-submit recent work, that exists in an electronic format, directly to myself.

Can I take this opportunity to thank everyone who has responded over the last 24 hours. I know I have not yet replied directly to everyone - I do hope to do so soon - but your replies have been appreciated.

As you will appreciate, I am finding it difficult to keep an eye on the forum so I'm sorry, Robin, if it seems 'bizarre'. I am rather chasing my tail, as they say.

Regards
Diane

Dear All,

I had an email from Diane. David has been taken ill again, and has had to go into hospital. He was due to move house tomorrow, so all his computer etc. is boxed up too.

I'm sure you'll want to join me in sending David wishes for a speedy recovery.

Don't worry about my artical at the moment, its in hard copy, sent snail mail, so its proberbly a the bottom of a box at Davids place.
Get well soon David, the stress of moving is bad enough, with out anything else.

Like everyone else, may I wish David a speedy recovery.

Having been in the situation a few years ago where I was suffering repeat attacks of Menieres Disease and never knowing when it was going to strike, I can well sympathise. Fortunately I have had operations to prevent the worst effects, the disease itself being incurable, but I still lost three years of my life.

Good luck David.

Regards,
