Is there a way of getting the "Free drawings" that come with the paper subscription issues, when you have a digital subscription?

Hi There
No, they are free with the paper subscription only.
However, I am dropping the free drawings in favour of something else that will be included in the digital subscription.
regards David

Hi David,
Can you expand on that statement regarding the free drawings?

Whatever you are proposing, will it be available to both paper and d igital subscribers?

What will be the format? printable PDF's or some other?

regards

Graeme

Hi there
Management has said that the free drawings can not be supplied with the digital issues as they are not numbered in sequence.

I am starting a long running series in 4408. It has been published before but few readers will have seen it as it was over 60 years ago in a relativly unknown magazine.

If readers like it, many more could be published.
The author was very popular in his day.

regards David

Actually, to be quite honest I have found the free drawings to be more of an irritant than anything else.
Invariably the middle pages of the magazine carried a drawing which overlapped the centre and thus required the partial deconstruction of the magazine in order to remove the drawings before the middle pages could be viewed properly.
So this other alternative, if published as part of the magazine and not as an insert, would be a welcome relief.

Hello there,
In detence of the free drawings, I have found great use in many of the free drawings, especially of Metro and Fair Rosamund (so sad about Neville).

Amazing that the forum took so long to work it out, following your request and clear statement of intent of the 16th of this month and at least other occasion!

Is there a way to obtain copies of Model Engineer that are prior to Issue 4152, Volume 187?

I am interested in the articles on the 71/4" gauge "Greene Queen" by Martin Evans that started in the August 1999 issue.

Does anybody know if there are castings available for this loco?

After all of that....Thank You David for your speedy answer/s
As an aside. I am 63 now, and when I was 14 or so I was given ME magazines from about 1951 onwards to about 1962. Unfortunately i had to dispose of them before moving countries from Australia to Canada in 1972.
