Thread: What fuse is required |
27/06/2023 10:52:25 |
I've just called Chester and they said a 13amp fuse would be ok. seems a bit high as the motor on my WM14 mill is protected with a 2amp fuse. not done it yet, the link you posted was to this forum posting. |

I've just blown the fuse on the front panel of my conquest super lathe. I can see the fuse is F rated but can't read the current. Does any know what size fuse is required. Edited By Eric Cox on 26/06/2023 15:28:04 |

Thread: No refund |
10/06/2022 10:34:54 |
I recently contacted the ME magazine publishers to cancel my subscription as I no longer wished to receive the magazine. They responded by telling me they had cancelled my subscription and that I would receive 14 more issues. I told them that didn't want the magazine and would they please refund me for the cost of the remaining 14 issues. They told me they didn't do refunds so I'm now out of pocket and will be receiving a magazine I no longer want. |

I have been cutting some slots in aluminium using a 1/4" end mill running at 2800 rpm and hand fed with a depth of 30 thou. The aluminium is sticking to the end mill and closing up the flutes. How do I over come this |
Thread: Create a "transfer" |
28/04/2022 11:24:12 |
If you don't have any transfer paper you can create "transfer" in the following way select design reduce to correct size and print out on ordinary printer paper when ink is dried apply two coats of clear nail varnish allow drying between coats cut out and soak in water rub off paper and you'll be left with a "transfer" ready to be applied. |
