96 forum posts 12 photos | Hello, I may be daft: I order a paper mag and digital archive of MEW. I can see on digital issues only from 146-171. I have tried to look further, but this is all I get from "My acount box on top left" and "Digital issues". On another thread I got the impression that someone has access from #1 on? Did I got something wrong or should I ask another appointment from an optometrist? I don't think I got my eyesight removed with my two wisdom teeth (Bloody mess - I can assure - take all medication they offer.......) RGDS, PekkaNoFish...and only a limiten amount of digital issues at disposal. |

To get the digital archive back to issue 1 you need to pay, click the "archive" tab along the green line at the top of the page for details

13 forum posts | You are better off than I am-I lost all access to MEW several months ago and am unable to get it back in spite of being a paid up subscriber to both ME and MEW.

63 forum posts | Hello gents, good to see it is not just me with a problem as my access to the MEW archive dissapeared a couple of days ago (the option does not appear when I click on Digital Issues), fairly sure my subs are still current, emailed the office for details but no reply yet. |

You done better than I did, I paid my subs paper and digital, and could never get back issues apart from the MEW paper versions I had already received. Like Mongo e-mails with no results, so I kissed my digital subs goodbye, MEW's do not ask me to renew and waste good Aussie dollars. Fred. |

96 forum posts 12 photos | hmph... I well tought that I'll get the whole works when I did the subscription. The names, fees and logic didn't guite open up. I tought that digital subscription was an alternative to the paper subscription or something. My mistake. I still don't quite get it. On Archive page there is an announcement, that if you buy access to it, I can view MEW issues from 1990 to 2006. Well, as an subscriber I'll get some back issues from #146 (Jan/2009) to latest. What is the story with issues that are left out here? Do I need to pay yet another fee to gain an acess on these "intermediate" numbers, that are apparently left out from both of these "programmes"? What I'm getting with this "digital issues" deal? Fixed amout of back issues acess? Does some magazines drops out or do I keep on accumulating issues I have a acess to? Either way I won't be desvastated, this is not larger than a life issue. Believe me - I have bigger issues than this. PekkaNF |

9 forum posts | Pekka,
you will need to buy a separate subscription for the MEW digital archive. That will give you an unlimited access for one year to issues 1 to 145 plus all the latesr ones you already can see as a magazine subscriber. You will receive a "digital subscriber number" by email and have to enter it in the appropriate box on your account's detail page. Then it's just go and enjoy. I subscribed last summer and haven't regretted a minute. Well, keeps me off the workshop rather effectively.
Some negatives: the page resolution on the older issues could be better and in case you want to print some pages for a later reference it's rather clumsy. Still, would I subscribe again? Oh yes, how else could I have the whole MEW at my fingertips?

I took out a digital subscription to MEW on 25/11/2010 and apart from an acknowledgement e-mail have heard nothing since.... at least they haven't taken the money yet.. Oh well, just have to wait. E-mail said I would be advised of membership number by post! Regards to all |
