14 forum posts 1 photos | Bought some bits and bobs from Banggood recently, and somehow managed to end up ordering the wrong inserts. Can't think how I managed it....other than confusing the tool shank size (12mm) with the insert size (9mm). I blame it on the Lidl Speyside malt. Anyway, I now have 10 MACHIFIT CCGT120404 AK H01 inserts (for aluminium) that are no bloody use to me at all - so here's a Crimbo bonus for someone out there who can make use of them. Just stick your virtual hand up in the replies below, and after a suitable period of time I'll pick a name and send them to the lucky winner, gratis. |

![]() 2110 forum posts 565 photos | Hi just seen this and thought I have a few specialised carbide bits made by Iscar. They are spare from when I did a proper job and I had thought I could use them but after a few years. I don't see me using them and as time goes on they will probably be superseded. Also free to a good home. You may have to buy or make an arbour to take them. DCN drill head ICP-250 25mm diamiter. DCN drill head ICP12.8-2M 8 off ball nose milling head MM-EB200A15 20MM David

4655 forum posts 304 photos | We had some 25mm Sandvik lathe tools at the museum before we had a mill, and I cut the first down by hand with a hacksaw and rubbed it to the tool height of 17.53mm by hand. It was hard work, and the second one got turned to the thickness in a four jaw chuck. They still get used. |
