Anyone want one of these ? Used for a week and discarded.Still sharp enough to slash your hand,(you'll need a handle,) but I like them razor sharp as i'm a weakling.. I took hundreds to the household tip today , I don't know why i keep hold of them for so long ...Jesus it did make a din as i tipped them in the metal skip !! And suddenly i thought someone here would have liked those!! Too late . These were what was left in my van.. Like I said, these have been used, got rained on, slight rust ,rasp might have horseshit in some teeth..i'm not cleaning them , but they'll last on non ferrous and MS for years...overall with tang 17" Put them in lemon juice they'll come up like new. Bonus is they're hard to break , very hard but not that brittle . If you want one you'll have to pay the postage ,about 3 quid each.. Reasonable? I think there's a dozen . But dont buy them just to put on ebay...I can do that.. Edited By Hacksaw on 15/11/2016 00:26:06 |

I read that heading as 'Savage aggressive big Flies'. Thought your workshop had been invaded by monster insects. me too, i have encountered some big nasties in my time too, i once sedated an enormous cattle fly with some solvent and looked at it under a digital microscope at work. The eyes were astonishing. I also found one of those weird ichneumon wasps recently, they are evil looking buggers. Michael W Edited By Michael Walters on 15/11/2016 07:37:55 |

Your efforts are much appreciated, but it looks like you might have twice as much packing to do. |

474 forum posts 202 photos | Funnily enough ...Yeah i'm a farrier....
A farrier is always a blacksmith, a blacksmith is not necessarily a farrier, which is why a farrier is cleverer than a blacksmith.. Anyway, they can bend a bit....but spring back just fine ..!
Get them hot and forge them into sommat useless...!
Yes, i know the "scales go the wrong way

Funnily enough ...Yeah i'm a farrier.... Ah, that would explain the mottled appearance on the files, i thought you just had a penchant for storing files in dank cold environments. Michael W Edited By Michael Walters on 16/11/2016 00:28:57 |
