I've been asked to let people know that the 25 years of MEW Special has sold out at MyHobbyStore. They are confident that more are on the way, but if you are waiting for or want to order a copy please be patient.

You may also be able to track down a copy at your newsagent or WH Smith.

It's really rewarding to see the special has been so popular - so thanks to everyone who has bought a copy! For the record I am not on commission!

Sorry folks, it seems we are sold out, and we are having minimal success in getting any back from the newstrade, which suggests it's selling well in the high street too.

If I can prove the demand we may be able to get a reprint done, so if you haven't got a copy and want one add your name below and I'll see what I can do.

Couldn't find a copy of it down my way at all Neil but then (wandering around WH Smiths up in Colwyn Bay last Wednesday) I found half a dozen in a little WHS 'Special' presentation box in the magazine area. No MEs or MEWs on sale at all though....

Not sure I would have driven the 500 miles (there and back) for it but happily we were visiting friends in the area.

Neil, any progress on making it available as a one off digital purchase? I see you have uploaded it. I would have thought there would be a demand and most people are only likely to want to print off one or two of the subjects.

Sorry Jason,.

I thought I posted a link to the digital edition on Pocketmags a couple of weeks ago:

pocketmags.com/viewmagazine.aspx?catid=1031&category=Family+%26+Home&subcatid=194&subcategory=DIY&title=Model+Engineers%27+Workshop+Magazine&titleid=1551&issueid=100896

Buy now before the bytes wear out.

Puts little black mark against Colwyn Bay

Still copies available, Smiths seems a good option.

Purchased a copy from Smiths in Totnes yesterday, the last one.

Today Newton Abbot branch still had 3 copies and Torquay 4 copies on the shelves.

So take a holiday in Devon and purchase a copy of the 25th MEW !

It's very patchy with WHS, all I can say is keep your eyes peeled as they won't let us have any back!

Thanks Neil, although I did not realise it was a digital only deal until after I paid. Pays to read the small print I guess. Still, it looks very good. Put me down for a hard copy if you do a second run.

Not been successful in seeing one at my local WHS, despite weekly checks since it was announced. To be honest my WHS might as well not be there. It is 50-50 chance if it has a ME and even less chance of having an MEW. I know they sell the Beano, but have never been able to get one there for my kids. The comic is issued on Thursdays, and by Friday morning - none. You'd have thought someone would learn... eventually.

Regards,

Richard
