I just thought I'd warn you about this "self assembly furniture" that's being punted on line.

I've had some in the back bedroom for three weeks now and it still has't got itself out the bloody box.

Hmmmmm - I've similar problem with the "self-cleaning oven"

On the other hand my self adhesive labels always seem to get stuck to each other.

Hi Steve, you've just reminded me that I got a self assembly bedside cabinet about three months or so ago, just had a look, and no, that hasn't even got out of the box yet either. It might my fault though, cause I haven't cut the plastic strapping off yet, you know! the stuff that your not supposed to carry it with when you buy it. Maybe I should cut it off and see if anything happens within the next month.

Regards Nick.

Do you watch the Garfield cartoons when when she says look at that oven YUUUKH and he says well in the advert it said it was self cleaning. Garfield and oddie bang there heads on the table.

Have had some lying in the garage for months . Is Ikea like Mr Coleman of mustard fame what is left on the side made his fortune!!!
Bob.

Well it is bank holls and I am sure we can allow a little bit of non engineering irreverence.

Apparently there was once a 'boon for motorists' - 'the self-grip wench'.

I went to a 'Pick your own strawberries' farm last month. Took ages to dig up and pot all my strawberry plants to take them there.
