I understood that this forum is for the sole subject of Model Engineering, not including medical items and least of all, blatant medical company advertising, For Free.
I think David should take this down at his earliest opportunity.

My guess was right: I have just clicked the links on both of them and they both have bases in various American States.
Right places and times for everything/horses for courses etc.
Come on David, chuck `em out!

Morning all

David is very unwell indeed and has been in hospital. He asked to be let out so he could sort out the next issue of ME.
I have deleted the first few postings on this thread but thought the title was appropriate.

Regards
Diane

Diane, please pass on our regards to David, and our wishes that he return to full health soon. I am sure that I speak for all members of the forum, and readers of ME and MEW.

I notice that the adverts are still there at the top of the thread.
Are model engineers prone to being driven mad or driven to drink?
Can we have the unadulterated facts please?

Can't do anything about the adverts I'm afraid. I will try to find out how they are generated and shift them.

Indeed, Ady ... $*&%$*$$** Google again!! Rapidly becoming more invasive (and pervasive) than the odious Microsoft! Looking at their Adchoice tag indicates the lying nature of their cookie code - nothing in their listing there that would include either of the ads referred to. It becomes increasingly difficult to find HONEST software program(me)s.
Rant over

As someone who reads the forum avidly, but posts very infrequently, may I add my best wishes to David for a speedy recovery.

I've long thought that the role of Moderator on these forums is a thankless task and that David carries the job off with great skill and good humour.

Poor David, that make twice he has been in hospital this year, hope he gets well soon, and starts to relax and make more swarf. I will try to find the links for a couple of books that he can down load and relax with these.

Well they don't work on most people, I didn't even know what the OP was talking about, but I do now that I have searched for them! Also perhaps someone here does want some help in that direction? Sorry to hear David is unwell, lets hope he soon recovers.
