59 forum posts 6 photos | Can anyone suggest a uk supplier for small flat bladed screwdrivers for clock repair. Looked on ebay , most looked like they where out of a christmas cracker. I was thinking of a small set , no philips , something that would do the job. Cheers Mike |

505 forum posts 99 photos | I've bought a couple of sets of Vessel brand ( Japanese) small screwdrivers flat bladed and the special cross head ones used on Japanese cameras, not too expensive but fit well and after a good few years use still ok. Dave I see Amazon do them. Just thought for clocks the set Vessel Veus11 flat bladed set might be more suitable than the miniature sets, pleased with mine, suppose it depends on the size of the clock!

![]() 2095 forum posts 75 photos | I like Wera tools but I am biased as I spent a week in Germany at their factory learning about the Profilator machines they made that machined the blades. Nice tools Martin P |

![]() 618 forum posts 122 photos | This thread got me looking into small screwdrivers (again) as I could do with some, especially X head, as the last set I bought was at a Radio Ham Rally back in the 80's! They are an unbranded Chinese make and have been really good over the years however they are getting a bit tired now. From experience Wera has been ok so I did a search and came up with this set "Wera 118150 6 Piece Kraftform Micro Precision Screwdriver Set" on ebay for £19.95 from a tool specialist in Somerset. Seems good value as it has postage included. |
