ME 4696 just arrived - well most of it. In mine pages 195 - 202 are missing and also the equivalent ones at the back 219 - 226.

Anyone else got this problem or was I just unlucky this time?

The digital version is OK, I haven't received my print version yet.

Looks like you have a rogue copy. All pages present and correct in my copy of issue 4696 of Model Engineer magazine. [email protected] should be able to sort out a replacement copy.

No pages missing but almost every other set of pages was slightly "sticky together". Perhaps a blunt knife?

Not a real problem.

Not an isolated problem as I have just received my print copy and that has the same problem, no pages 195-202 and 219-226 but 2 lots of pages 203-210 and 211-218.

Seems to have been a printing & finishing hiccup with one batch.

Mine is All Present And Correct although oddly, p.219, and only that one (carrying the private ads.) is bereft of its footer.

Pages not fully cut as JA reports, is not an uncommon fault.

Weary - Why classicmagazines for a replacement? Not Mortons?

Because that is who it says to contact on the cover sheet in with the mag with queries & questions.

Same sheet also has your Customer ID number which will help them track you down

Maybe a collectors item one day?

Thanks chaps. Very helpful to hear from others but it looks like Tricky and I have part of a duff batch.

A quick call to Mortons help line this p.m. and a very helpful lady (Andrea) is organising replacements pdq; I can't ask for better service than that.

My digital issue has appeared but the usual Download button is missing. Instead, it is available to buy, and yes, my subscription is still current.

Simon are you still looking at the mags on Pocketmags? The new Viewer ?

Jason I have done nothing different. Yes, Pocketmags and the ME app on iPad. I tried “restore purchases” but this issue still does not have the Download button, just the price to buy. I am about 9 months into my first digital subscription so I don’t know whether that is the new viewer.

I had the same problem. I contacted the helpdesk (via email) and they helped me out very quickly...

Might be easier to use the new viewer which will let you download in pdf form so you can keep a copy for offline viewing.

Click "magazines" along the top green bar, then select ME and go from there, you will need your new ID number

I had the same - I rang Mortons and they're going to send me a replacement.
