I’d like to look at this, but don’t like the cookies. Too many . I saw it originally on the Apple News feed, but some folks don’t like links to that: so I found the CNN page to link here. It didn’t take me long to reject all the ‘optional’ cookies. MichaelG. . https://apple.news/AF7bHa1OHRTCYo3Yy_d6gWQ for those with the appropriate device. You could ask "What is the point of Elon Musk?" N. He's a strange and controversial character, but if you can overcome your prejudice for long enough to listen he does say some very deep and though-provoking things about our future. |

Have a look at the Panorama programme "The Electric Car Revolution: Winners & Losers". Mining cobalt for his car batteries. A disgusting way to treat people and make millions from it!

Have a look at the Panorama programme "The Electric Car Revolution: Winners & Losers". Mining cobalt for his car batteries. A disgusting way to treat people and make millions from it Panasonic and Tesla should be using cobalt free batteries from this year. But that won't stop the assorted 'disgusting way people are treated to make millions' or the way folk choose to be ignorant of the multitude of sins behind many consumer products owned for vanity and self gratification rather than real need. Just do a search for coffee slavery for instance, or look at the impact of US and other countries economic policies for the unwitting effect they often have on countries and pollution. The contemporary palm oil industry and even banana growing has a horrid history let alone the areas media highlights such as Asian clothing industries or Far Eastern consumer products. pgk

He's a strange and controversial character, but if you can overcome your prejudice for long enough to listen he does say some very deep and though-provoking things about our future. I have a prejudice against rich ego-maniacs who people worship because they foolishly equate making money with having brains. People need to stop listening to Elon Musk, Bill Gates, et. al. They are not experts. Prime example of Musk's very un-deep and moronic ideas about our future is nuking Mars. Or even colonizing Mars. Listen to experts. Musk is not one. |
