Has anyone else experienced recently, a lot of green, grey and black 'scribble' on that website? Almost nothing readable. Has the site gone titsup or what?

Now 10.10, Friday 14th, website still knackered. I ran usual security and they said no problems, so must be David Goyder s problem?

Will try to contact him.

10:53, Friday 14th and clicking through the site randomly produces no problems here. As far as I can tell Model Engineering Website is working perfectly.

I'm browsing this link with Firefox 96.0 (64-bit), with AdBlocker Ultimate on Ubuntu 21.10 I'll try Windows 10 next.

Off-hand, I can't think of a software problem that would produce those symptoms. Possibly hardware, but that would upset other sites as well. What are you using John?

Why is nothing ever easy?

Dave

The only time I have had weird display patterns from a site was when the video card was dying.

Dave and Michael, just clicked link provided by you both and it still comes up stuffed with rubbish.

I'm using a Samsung tablet and Android, Google used to search for most things.

That site is the only one found this week with rubbish on it, like it's been attacked by the lowlife. As previous, AVG says that there are no issues with my tablet, so I can only think it's something at David Goyders end?

Sorry to disappoint you, John … but I have just tried the link on my shiny new ‘dirt cheap smartphone’ [ Alcatel 1S running Android 11 ] and everything seems fine; so I can’t understand how a problem with the website can be affecting only your tablet.

sad

Same problem with another website, home puter does not recognize a click, wife's same identical puter and set up no problem. Several other puters no problem.

Just tried it on my iPad and my samsung(Android) phone.

Both worked ok.

It looks like the problem is at your end.
