I frequent a number of online forums as I’m sure many of you do and at this particular time I would have expected a bit more traffic on them? I expect some of you have increased time in the workshop but wondering what else you’re doing.

Made an adapter to collect surface grinder dust. Works very well. Using an ash vacuum to collect the dust.

Mowed the lawn for the first time this year. Planted some onion seeds that had been languishing in a corner of the kitchen worktop. It said "Plant before Sept 2014" or thereabouts, on the packet, so we'll see if something in any of them can still remember what it's meant to do.

Otherwise, carried on with the steam-wagon... 3 steps forwards, 2-5 back as usual.

2 more wood/delrin/brass racing cars for the twin grandchildren now coming up 18 months. Might carry on with Elizabethan culverin tomorrow - need to figure out how to make and attach the iron tyres. I'll also have to find a way to correct the trunnions on the barrel - I managed to get them out of concentricity with each other in both planes by a few thou. That's one of the things about the current house-arrest - you can pick up abandoned projects.
