Bill, ask on MECH forum he has come up a few times on there as they do like to discuss engines for sale, nothing dodgy that I can recall.

There is nothing "dodgy" about Robin West who runs View Models.

He has been in business for many years and though I have not dealt with him myself, two colleagues have done so and been completely satisfied.

He is probably having difficulties at the moment like many of us.

Steve, I think you should withdraw that comment.

As Redsetter says many of out small long established suppliers a lot of whom are one man bands will be finding it very difficult at the moment and people making uninformed comments who have clearly never even heard of this company as they have little experience in the live steam world does not help them now or if the future.

I have removed the post saying they were dodgy and would ask all to think about what they post, if you have no knowledge of the companies then better to not post than post ill informed replies.

There may be a lot of businesses in a ‘dodgy’ situation just at the moment. That is not necessarily any refection, whatsoever, on the integrity of the person/people in charge.

Given the advanced age of many of us in this hobby, there could be other explanations of why a person is slow to respond - or ceases altogether. (At the best of times).
