But, then; what is the part with the sliding part for? ...Howard Has the ring of confidence, I guess the slider stops a wire, blade or pin slipping out when leverage is applied. It's too small to be for fencing wire, maybe it's for adjusting a band-saw or drive belt tension mechanism.
