Stunning work, very impressive.

How about putting up a photo of the whole panel in the lit up state (please).

That panel looks absolutely fantastic and the blue edge lighting is stunning.

Where did you get the STL. file from?

Five hours of machining at what feed rate?

P.S. some details of the 'badog' would also be of interest.

Very nice job! Wouldn't murky green be more appropriate?

Very good indeed, though it does remind me of my mother-in-law...

I like that!

Thinking aloud, an archaeopterix fossil design with orange/amber lighting could be nice.

Amazing detail there Paul; CNC is way out of my league but I applaud people who can grasp it, well done.

Superb.

Now you need to make something similar but larger, suspend it from a drone and fly slowly over the churchyard at night

Just look at the detail and you can see why, it's a work of art, did you convert the image to a depth map?

Nice, the result speaks for itself really. I have done it in a manner of speaking but not as well! I practised on a home made conversion program with making pictures onto small brass and aluminium plates. I taught myself G and M code through the free program mach3 and flashcut CNC. Like you said, change the image to grey scale. .TAP and .NGC files i used to make the code once i altered the jpeg.

So, not much really i'm just a humble onlooker. wink

.....Being a bit dense here!...so  who is the original artist who created the image that you used?...was it you?
