Yes,

A Merry Christmas and a Happy New year to all Forum members.

We can only wish for Peace on Earth, when we think of the various conflicts.

And spare a thought, at least, for the poor souls who have suffered flooding in Cumbria.

David

I sympathise - having avoided surgeons for over "three score years and ten" I've had three close encounters this year ! In my experience they are a pretty good lot.

To the rest of you - have a good Xmas and I hope that Santa brings you some useful bits.

Enjoy yourselves but remember it IS bad form to sneak out to the workshop on Christmas Day !

Hi Norman Despite my wife thinking the doctors are trying to kill me they do try their best. It was only the local doctor admitting defeat that got me into hospital and they sorted me out. A couple of days and they gave me a bone marrow biopsy and a chest X-ray and a scan and decided I had a lung infection which was ignored when I had my final cancer scan. Antibiotics and I am doing ok. In fact much better today.

Not for me, I shall be spending the whole of Christmas Day in the workshop without feeling in the least bit guilty, apart from the time spent cooking a full fry up in the morning and a nice supper in the evening.

Merry Christmas all. Turkey eating is all done here. Now it's off to the shed to play with the nice set of V blocks, pair of teardrop mallets and leather shot bag that Santa brought me.
