Hi All,

I have some anti-rust paper bearing the name "Corotex" and MetPro Group.

I usually write details in my notebook but on this occasion forgot to do so and now I cannot remember where I got it. I have enquired on websites of Chronos, Millhill, RDG, Reeves, Shesto, all negative.

Can anyone please help?

John

MetPro are an Irish company, corotex being one of their brands. An e-mail to their sales dept might get you the name of a stockist this side of the Irish Sea.

Cromwell stock "Avon" brand vpi paper - made by MetPro as well.

John; Chronos have sheets (usual disclaimer) I bought 10 last year & still have loads left, as you can see they are BIG sheets.

Cheers

George.

I remember years ago (30+) dad got several sheets as a gift in his wood working magazine. Ian S C

Hi All,

Thank you very much for your help, all those who replied. Have now found wanted item on Chronos` site, using the correct first search word (Rust) like I should have to start with and now ordered some. Can speak from prev. experience this is very good stuff. Seems expensive but works out reasonably economical since only a small piece needed in a small container and prevents ugly damage to tools.

Brilliant idea, Neil. Its not bulky, lays flat like another mag page, perfect. If it could be arranged economically, have an advert for all their mags printed on the paper. John.

Bit of a bummer if you only have a digital subscription though, can't see my printer producing something like this inhibiting paper. Maybe if I switched to a 3D printer wink 2 ? Phil
