Hello from France,

I just receive my first issue the morning. Verry good magazine, but I have a question: Why I have not access to digital issues for MEW but only for Model Engineer (subcriber from last december) ?

Regards

Didier

Hi Didier, you only get digital access to the magazine you subcribe to, so you would need to subcribe to MEW as well to get access to both digital issues.

Regards Nick.

Hi Nick

As well I have subcribed to the both magazines and put my numbers in my details, but I have only access to Model Engineer and not to MEW digitals issues. I am very desappointed.

Didier

Bonjour Didier,

I hope your problem is resolved soon. Which department do you live in ? We are in Lot (46) and find it difficult to find small quantities of material in France at reasonable prices. Many UK suppliers will send material, but of course the postage can be a bit expensive. We would be interested if you know of some good vendors.

Bob Humphrey.

Bonjour Bob,

We are in Bouches du Rhone (13) and I get most of my brass and some aluminium from Tartaix in Paris, I have looked at Qualichutes recently (but not bought from them) and also from a guy calling himself blockenstock advertising on leboncoin.

Will be interested to hear of any others, especially down here in the south.

Simon

I live in Bretagne, on l'Ile de Sein in Finistère. I nknow the problem to find material in France. I use Qualichutes et Blockenstok for steel Aluminium brass and bronze.

You are lucky in UK when I see the crowd of vendors of material and tools I think it's a paradise for model engineers and it's the reason why I buy the most part of my tools and castings in UK.

Regards

Didier
