Could you please also put it in ME. We were sitting near each other at the BSMEE meeting and sharing a joke and he looked fine last week. We all will miss him dearly and I will especially miss his kind comments to my engineering questions. There was never ever an unkind word like "its for me to know and you to find out" What a man and will be deeply missed in the BSMEE.
respectfully to all |

I always enjoyed reading his articles and he always managed to communicate well with the reader. Sometimes we forget there are real people behind all these stories and it's very sad to hear that the model engineering fraternity have lost such a good friend. My best wishes to Geoff's family at this saddest of occasions and perhaps it's a comfort to think he stays with us in his writings which people will continue to enjoy for many years. |

A sad time for all his family.

![]() 569 forum posts 20 photos | This is very sad news. I first got to know him through writing articles for MEW when he was Editor; as others have already said, he was a true gentleman, always kindly and helpful, and with a warm sense of humour. He was a major asset to the model engineering community, and will be greatly missed. My condolences to Gill and the family. |
