Browsing through the back issues for subscribers section, I noticed that the latest issue described therein is issue number 155 (October 2009).  This came as a bit of a surprise as I'm only up to issue 153 (August 2009).  Although a subscriber, admittedly only since December last year, I always semm to receive my magazines very late.  OK, I live in France, but normal airmail letters arrive within two or three days, at the most, from th UK.  Why, when the publisher's advertising states that as a subscriber you can read the small ads days before anyone else, does it take so long to get here?  Anybody else have similar problems?
John.

I haven’t received issue 155 yet either (UK subscriber) and it’s been up on the back issues page for a week or so. Anyone in the UK got issue 155 yet?

hello
I am also a subsciber and have not recieved MEW 155.

In my opinion the current issue should not be put up until it is available in the news agents and the subcribers have their copy.

It spoils the enjoyment of recieving and reading the magazine  if you have read it on here first.

regards
                 Tom.

Hi,

Me also. I do have 154 though - had it for a few weeks, but hadn't missed 155, but then I have been away.

So Mr. Editor, where are they?

On this subject of recieving issues that are late or for some other reason you have not seen it a time of issue is the "Classifieds Section" of the Magazine.

Dave Could you consider entering the For sale and Wants section of the magizines into this site on the day of issue.  This would give all the opportunity of making an offer at the same time. It could be that you put this in the subscribers section of this website.
Just an idea!!!

I also looked for issue 155 at home after seeing it in the "Back Issues" section. I'm a subscriber and found up to 154. Looking at issue 154 it says 155 is due on 4th September 2009.

I am always astounded by the power of the internet.  Hardly had the 'ink' dried on my posting to start this thread, than the post lady arrived this morning with the missing October issue!  Now I'll have to sit down and read it and the grass cutting will have to wait!

Hello!

A few issues back, which arrived after great delay, the situation looks
now like being corrected. The last two issues arrived two or three days before
the "on sale date". So I've been reasonably happy.

Not having yet received the issue number 155, this morning (and after
reading the previous posts about the issue 155),  the postman brought
to me another dark grey bag with a new issue of MEW and, as a great surprise,
the label in the bag/envelope refers MEW156 !

Well, after opening the bag I could see everything is OK. The issue is, really,
number 155.

A bad surprise with a good ending.

#155 arrived in Switzerland on Sept. 3rd. also. That the number on the envelope is wrong is known for a long time. Imperial numbering maybe?

Greetings, Versaboss

Hi There
All subscribers get the chance to read free ads as soon as the magazine is online.
Often before you receive the subscription copy.

As a new subscriber to MEW I have a very positive impression of the way the subscription and mailing were handled. After completing the process on 27th July trough the website I promptly received an email confirmation saying my first issue would be # 155, arriving on or around 4th September. Actually, my first ever MEW did arrive in Finland yesterday 3rd September. Great!

How long should I wait till I start worrying? It's October 2nd and I still haven't recieved mine. What's the average delivery time to the USA?
