Having just watched the BBCs programme, "Rip off Britain " about the internet rogues, how nice to be able to rely on some excellent trusted traders like Arceuro. I ordered something either late last Saturday or sometime Sunday and the packet was on the doormat today, Tuesday when I arrived home. The speed of delivery is incredible but it's also dependent upon Royal Mail who are very good as well.

Similarly, I ordered a boring bar from JB cutting tools via eBay one afternoon last week and Royal mail delivered it the next morning! Jenny B also sent me a few extra cutting inserts (that she had surplus ) f.o.c.

So, there are good guys (& girls) out there!

You’re very lucky!

Royal Mail is a disaster in our area - stuff going missing, unreliable deliveries.

Unfit for purpose.

I have nothing but praise for Arc Euro. I have been dealing with them for very many years. Long before i knew about the internet I was buying stuff from the shows, and since they stopped doing the shows, via the internet. Not once in all that time have i had cause to complain. Just a happy customer.

Magpie, quite agree. Ketan was doing "Bighton Model World" where I bought an Anglepoise type lamp from him and still in use over my workshop bench. Dread to think how many years ago that was, the exhibition expired many many years ago. Have been buying stuff from him ever since.

Similar experience from GWR fasteners this week. Ordered on Monday and took the lowest cost delivery option as they weren't urgent. This was First Class Post and they arrived Tuesday morning.

We are fortunate to have good, trusted suppliers, like Arc Euro, Tracy JB, etc

They go the extra mile for their customers, to ensure that the end user gets what they want, or their problem solved.

They are a pleasure to deal with, and contrast to what is shown on the consumer progtrammes on TV.

Rennie Tool, UK Drills & RAW Engineering on eBay, all three very keen prices, good quality products and superfast delivery by Royal Mail.

There are a lot of companies that get their products out on time, I do not judge them on that but how they deal with any problems that may arise.

Most of the time delays are caused by the delivery system that is used.

There are too many companies to list that get stuff out on time but only a few delivery companies that let them down which give them a bad name
