4 forum posts | Hello, I cannot log in to the forum using my normal details. Every time I try to log in, I am told the email or password is wrong. Well the email is correct so I asked for a new password, got the same response , so asked for another password, still didn't work. Tried a couple more times and gave up! I have registered afresh with an old gmail email address. so that I can ask someone to help sort out my normal membership! Can any of the moderators help? Andrew. |

4 forum posts | Hello Jason, The new password you gave me didn't work, same as before I am afraid! Ady, I have the same delete on exit set up, but shutting down and reopening still doesn't let me log on! Dave, I tried doing as you suggested yesterday but all I got was that an account already exists with those details, so still stuck! Thanks everyone, Andrew. |

1817 forum posts 2 photos | This is Jason Posting. Looks like it may be something your end. I just opened your old account and was able to change the password which required me to enter the existing which it excepted (one PM'd this morning) I then logged out and tried to login using your e-mail and the password I had just updated to and go in no problem. I'll PM you what the current password is. Suggest you try from another device if possible. Edited By Andrew Tinsley on 01/09/2021 10:56:25 |

865 forum posts 12 photos | Assuming Andrew was entering both name and password (i.e. not relying on the browser to remember his pw) there doesn't seem any reason for the browser to affect things .... it's only two simple text fields. It would be interesting to discover the underlying problem. |

28 forum posts 75 photos | I am trying to log into my account at Mytimemedia to check they have my new address but they don't recognise my email address when I try to reset my password. My Model Engineers Workshop magazine is still being addressed to my old residence despite changing my details in my account on the forum over 6 months ago. Do they read the forum account details? I can't understand why they don't have my email address. Don't ask if I can remember when I last logged into my Mytimemedia account because I can't. My Post Office redirection will expire in a couple of months and I don't want to pay another 60 odd quid to renew it. Thanks - Chris.

![]() 25215 forum posts 3105 photos 1 articles | Tell a Lie I did take a look and was able to create a subscription account using your e-mail address which suggests it was not in use so you may never have had an online account for subscriptions. Will PM you the password I used and then you can change the address and password to suit. I've also only entered the MEW subs number so ME will want adding Edited By JasonB on 02/09/2021 08:46:56 |

28 forum posts 75 photos | Oh this gets better. Thanks for the reply Jason. I've just logged in and changed the password as you suggested (that's ok) but I've tried unsuccessfully to change my address but it keeps coming back with the address unchanged. Our address is a bit strange because the lane the house is on has no name, so the address is a house number and the village name so to try to identify the house better we have given the house a name. I appears the updater will only accept an address it finds in its UK lookup table so we are stuck with the old address which because of an historical typo is different to the address on the house deeds. At least our local postman (sorry person) knows us by name now and is very reliable. I am still bemused by the fact that I can set up a subscription without having a valid Mytimemedia account. Regards - Chris. |
