2 forum posts | Hi everyone, I am a semi-retired industrial designer based in Leicestershire. I am lucky enough to have a dry, heated and well-equipped workshop on my own property. The sort projects I undertake are quite a bit different to what see I on here - more prototyping rather than modelmaking or model engineering. Just before lockdown I added a new Sieg SX2.7 mill to my workshop. The first project was to fit a DRO system - if any members are interested I'll perhaps post details (including pictures) of how I did it. I found it difficult to find instructions for this specific machine on this forum or elsewhere so I had to make it up as I went along but I am very pleased with the result. Watch this space as they say.

I also joined a Yahoo user group to share information. Not sure if it still exists but metalworkforums.com have a Sieg group. Also lots of good informationfor an SX2.7 on Youtube. Paul. |
