Hi,

I have been model engineering, mostly making more tooling I admit, for 30 years in deepest Norfolk. I used to run the MyMyford group and chat room until it was overrun by politics and would like to talk to others with a similar interest in the local area.

I have a YouTube channel under freudiankey if you need a laugh.

Looking forwards to talking to like minded people.

Shaun

Hi Shaun welcome to the forum what models do you make. I have a varied list and just make what I make within the limitations of the tooling I have and wondered what machinery you have.

Greetings Shaun, nowhere is a place in NR29, so that's why I live in NR13.

Looking forward to a few good sessions in the workshop.

Regards

Brian

I’m in the Gt Yarmouth area so it’s all doom and gloom and corona this that and the other right now. I try to look on the bright side as I could probably get my Boxford 125tcl retired and running if I had to lockdown. Other than that I have a Warco vertical mill, an Astra horizon/vertical I’m working on CNC for, a myford super 7 and a Colchester chipmaster. My workshop is my sanctuary!

i don’t think I’ve actually finished a model yet to be honest, everything I start turns into a rent of tooling manufacture and usually is put on hold for financial reasons so one day soon I will complete loads!

keep on going!

Welcome Shaun!

I am not to far away, in Peterborough.

Everything seems to be shutting down.

About the only thing that can be said of Covid 19 is that it encourages time in the shop!

At least you can keep up your spirits with a chat to your mates on here, if not at the Club, or in the Pub!
