Hi I have just got around to start the restoration of my Lorch AB of c1908. Could anyone suggest please where I could get the bed ground without costing the proverbial arm and a leg.

Appreciate any ideas please.

best regards Keith

Never used them myself but Slideway Services in Nuneaton West Midlands get a regular mention.

Slideways packed up at Christmas. Some guy down in Kent has the machines now.

Hi,

I tried to contact Brian yesterday regarding a regrind on a Boxford. Brian informed me that he had retired but would pass my information on to someone else. Last night I got a call from Matt who I believe may also be in Nuneaton. I have sent him pics today so as I get more info on location etc I will happily pass information on.

thanks

Hi Lee any news on a bedway regrinder. Just wondered if you had heard from your contact.

Hi,

I have been dealing with Matt @ Unislide in Nuneaton. I have his mobile number which he has said I can give to anyone interested, although I don’t want to put it in a post on forum for obvious reasons. I’ll PM the number if you like? Other than that a quick google would give a landline number.

I have found Matt very helpful, I am dropping my Model A Boxford off at the end of this month for regrind.

To many variations on bed design for a close answer to that question.

I'm interested in having my Super7 done but after several tries on the landline number .. no answer.

Anyone else had any joy on L/L phone ??
