Little Arthur was pleased that his good behavior through the year was not un-noticed by Ketan Santa who made it down the chimney without burning his bum to deliver the first in a new line of pet products. dog

He was not so interested in the new chuck that was inside or the files, arbor and 15,30,45 blocks thoughsad

Treats inside or empty..? our little Jack Russell has a fascination with empty plastic bottles.

Santa is running a bit late to Devon but I heard a whisper he could have a QCTP and a mill spindle DRO somewhere in his sack.

Not sure my prezzies would be of much wider interest, except I got a pro crimping tool with a full set of jaws from 1.5mm up.

I wonder how many other forum members were practising their crimping on Christmas day?

1.5mm hair is pretty impressive whatever head it might be on....

The DRO price reduction offer on this forum settled my Xmas pressie this year and very impressive too! That left SWMBO to sort out. Happened to mention that I had seen a "Myrtle the Turtle" robot vacuum cleaner in Lidls and the response was immediate! Managed to get one and have just given it a trial run. At 83 it represents the best possible fun to be had with one's clothes on!! The final 'icing on the cake', so to speak, is pressing the remote control 'Home' button and it stops what it's doing and navigates back to and plugs itself into the charging point. Better than telly ... well almost anything is, over Xmas!

PS   the cats think its absolutely fascinating too!

One good thing about Christmas is the storage containers, this year has provided 1 square and 1 round metal biscuit tin, 2 plastic 10 inch boxes with clip on lids and an A4 size shallow box with dividers.

Unfortunately, I obviously wasn’t a good enough boy this year. I sent my letter to Santa, most of which came from the ARC catalogue, and on Christmas Day, all I got was socks, alcohol and a piece of coal.

I’m going to have to try harder next year....

(The piece of coal was actually a Welsh Cheddar infused with charcoal and wrapped up, like an Edam with a black wax coating)

Cheers

Mark

Anyone needing.a decent chuck could do far worse than look at those prices on Zither chucks - don't be put off by the Indian origin, the quality is excellent and those prices are amazing.

Soft jaws in my basket already!
