1 forum posts | I'm looking for a small ball joint that I can attach to a flat fixed surface, with the rod attached to the ball so that the rod can move in all directions. The end result is the sort of thing you would have with the aerial of a old style transistor radio. I can find ball joints for attaching to the end of rods to act as linkages, but none which can be attached to a flat surface. Any suggestions? |

It may be the wrong scale for your application but the principle of a slot down the side of the ball cup to allow the "vice" (or your rod) to lean over should give you the flexibility you seek. 40231901 Aluminum Small Mini Table Clamp Hobby Jewlery Work Swivel 360 ViceI got one out of Aldi some time back and it's useful.
