Sorry we can't do the plain brown envelopes! |

8 forum posts | Oh dear. I'm afraid I gave up my previous subscription due to the suspicious looks my post-lady was giving me when delivering them, and at least one copy arrived torn open by some postal worker probably hoping for something shameful inside. Any hope they might change to transparent or be prominently labelled at some point? |

Given the concern around the abundance of plastic why is it used for the wrapper, there must be more environmental friendly alternatives Mick If chucked into your recycling it will be made into more plastic bags. The alternative would be a plain brown envelope... Neil |

Sorry, no - they get stolen too often in transparent bags! Mine come in transparent plastic bags, with a piece of paper with name/address on it; no mailing label stuck to the bag. (Canada delivery). Last one arrived yesterday, the one where "Wally" gets his teeth. Somehow they also arrive out of order; I have no idea how Neil arranges *that*. JohnS.

Neil Edited By Neil Wyatt on 20/12/2017 18:40:38 That's a shame. Other magazines I subscribe to don't seem to have the same problem, must be less desirable! Perhaps a digital subscription will be the way to go. |

Any hope they might change to transparent or be prominently labelled at some point? I recall a thread some time ago complaining about transparent wrappers and asking for opaque! Turned out the transparent wrapper was only temporary, for one issue. Edited By Robbo on 20/12/2017 23:56:14 |

Sorry, no - they get stolen too often in transparent bags! Neil Edited By Neil Wyatt on 20/12/2017 18:40:38 They arrive in NZ in clear bags. They used to arrive in the grey bags and I'd preffer to go back to the grey bags. I guess you bulk ship to an agent over here who then distrubutes for you Maybe you could advise them that Mytime media would preffer for them to use grey bags Pete

![]() 25215 forum posts 3105 photos 1 articles | The other complaint about clear bags is the people can see what your hobbies are and therefore what you may have to steal. No doubt if we went to paper envelopes there would be a flood of complaints that people are getting soggy mags with sticky pages when the postie has had to deliver during heavy rain. Though Michael's suggestion may help with this! |

The other complaint about clear bags is the people can see what your hobbies are and therefore what you may have to steal.! Jason That is really the basis of my request. No need to advertise unnecessarily, particularly when your mail can sit all day in a box at the end of your driveway. There’s no post it through the door in NZ Pete |

![]() 7468 forum posts 230 photos | Mine comes in a clear plastic bag, with the address on a sheet of white paper(quite handy). Last year my letter box died, so I built a new one, and made sure the slot was wide enough to take the mag without the postie folding it to get it in the box. Ian S C |
