screw cutting for dummies.........

Hi all,

I will be back in the UK, actually Helston Cornwall late October for a week........

Is there anyone that way who is prepared to spend some time showing me how to screw cut........Happy to pay or supply some good Bordeaux red.......

I have a Colchester Student 6" and a later Myford Super7.......

Where in France do you live, it would be interesting if you were any where near Perigueux where I have friends and visit sometimes.

Hi all,

thanks JohnF for the offer and I live near a place called Mirembeau 17150........about 2hr's from Perigueux.....

the kettle is always on.........

Depends how desperate you are ......

Axminster tools do a very good screw cutting course ....(not in any brochure you need to ask)

but its not cheep

I've been on it recently and can highly recommend it, Bob is an excellent teacher.

A bit far for me - about 5h drive from me but if you are ever near Perpignan the wine is on tap.

mostley it's the time factor, I'd be going to night school if I lived back there.......

do they still do night school these days....? as for the UK trip, it'll be mad busy, seeing friends and buying stock........

after travelling the world working I now like to stay at home, especially as there is always something fix and a few job's for myself......LIKE;-

a DRO for the mill, a ball turner and just ton's of little mods that seem to take forever.....
