Does any know where I can get an empty graduated drill box from to house my numerous individually obtained drills.

Might help if you said if you need metric, imperial, number, letter, etc and also range of sizes and increments.

Eric,

I am rather embarrassed to say I can no longer find it, I had a bench clearance some time ago, put things in a box which I have since misplaced!

So, it might be better for you to see if someone else can help you instead. I'm sorry to have got your hopes up.

Regards
Brian

That's OK Brian, thanks for the offer.

By Eric saying 'empty graduated drill box', i'm guessing he means something like this:

But, I don't like guessing, so I guess he will clarify wink 2.

he also said he wanted somewhere to put his drills. So perhaps a stand would suit him better. Who knows?

I don't think there is a lid, just a handy storage tray that goes under.

Unless you can find someone, like Brian, with a spare one, it's probably going to cost you a tenner by the time you've paid the postage.

This one on ebay with slots from 1/16- 1/2 in 1/64ths is only £13.80 delivered; the trouble is, that it's already full of drills, so it still leaves you with the same issue. wink

The old problem of getting rid of a heap of soil - answer, dig a hole and bury it wink 2

Buy a cheap set from Screwfix or Toolstation and throw the drills in the DIY box with the left over nails and screws.

If all else fails, why not make a stand? Take a piece of metal and drill a hole with each drill, gradually increasing in size, and job done! All it will cost is a bit of steel, (or sheet aluminium fixed to a block of wood) and a little time.

Do Cromwell , Machine Mart, Toolstation or Screwfix offer empty drill boxes? (Sure that I've seen them advertised somewhere)
