There was a flame eater in an American magazine many years ago and I didn't fancy the flame being produced by meths (childhood memories with Mamod) so I built in parts from a gas lighter and that seems to work fine. 7 forum posts	Hi Chaps Thanks for the warm welcome, Brian I'm a junction south of you. I thought about using a Gas flame on my next engine. Mainly to keep the cylinder free of moisture.
