Hi I'm new to this forum . Does anyone have a bright idea for cleaning diamond wheels without dressing them . They can clog over time and I do find dressing them to be a bit of a pain . Just finished a Shand Mason if anyone is interested .

Thanks Jeff C

This type of thing works well on my sanding belt and can be used as a quicky way of improving clogging files... not tried it on diamond.

Not had the problem, I only use the diamond wheel for final polishing after grinding to shape with the normal wheel. However if I did have that problem I would try cleaning in my ultrasonic cleaner with a bit of citric acid added to the water. Just an idea.

Welcome to the forum Jeff, I can't say I have used my diamond wheel heavily enough to clog it.

The white cleaning sticks are good. Years ago we would lap the wheel on a lapping plate with a little paraffin.
