469 forum posts 50 photos | I have a very elderly "Primus" gas torch with three burners. The smallest used to produce a very neat flame, very controllable and a pleasure to use. Over the years it has become progressively blocked until it no longer functions. The inlet side is covered with a fine mesh, and the flame side has a brass disc with a ring of small holes. The is no apparent way to dismantle it. Is there anything that I could soak it in that might unblock it please? Maurice |

![]() 23121 forum posts 1360 photos | Maurice's burner is, I presume similar to 8842 as shown on this page http://www.dpsgas.co.uk/shop/sievert/sievert_pg3/ I have two variants ... One screws onto a 'neck tube' and the other is 'integrated' So far as I'm aware, neither can be cleaned with the devices mentioned. MichaelG. |
