Hi all,
For someone to look into this problem they will need to know which browser and operating  system suffer with it.
Les.

Hi David,
If I click on "Spindle Speed" in latest posts, part of thread text is hidden behind the latest posts box. Doesn`t happen to any others.
Regards,
John.

Hi Kwil
Just re-checked it and I'm still seeing the same problem with adverts overlaying text. I'm using Firefox and XP as well, The problem doesn't occur using IE v8, so could be a small coding error on that particular page. If the page has been written for IE then other browsers may not display everything correctly. Microsoft have a habit of not sticking strictly to the correct html protocols when it suits them not to. Can be a nightmare writing web pages to account for all the quirks and foibles between the various browsers.

Hows about a "Mod" on the Sales and Wants Ads to include a ROUGH location of the users, so we can decide if it's more cost effective to COLLECT rather than Royal Mail or some carrier trying to loose the said items and recently, I would have been delighted to have helped "Geoff" with his quest for an old M/E but HOW?? and the other, "LBSC parts and drawings"  of WHAT???

  Regards  Ian.

Hi There
There is a space on the form for town.
We can't force people to declare what the castings are for and if someone places an advert but does not have a public profile, you can't email them.
regards david

Hi,
After adding a post (About 09:40 23/02/10) to the thread "Low Price Optical rev counter accuracy" the view of the page was totally confused. I think there must be some hidden characters confusing the browser. Could you try deleting this post to see if it clears the problem.
Les.

Hi,
Many thanks for removing whatever was causing the problem on that post. I think I know what caused it I used "Word" to check the spelling of "fluorescent" and then pasted it into my post. I think some formatting characters characters must have been pasted in as well.
Les.

Access to the sample digital archive magazines under "Extra" appears to be broken.
It says: Click on the magazine covers below to test drive the digital editions.
Doing so has no effect for any of them.
(I tried using Firefox 3.6 and IE 7. )
Regards,
Barry

The original site developers really should get a good kicking for stealing money for the abismal performance we have had to tolerate since ME went back online. I'll bet P.M is rotating in his grave. Overlap in"Tap Magic", AGAIN (Overlap that is), subscriber digital veiwing AGAIN, "Have a look how the digital issues work" No it don't. Inability to delete dual postings, No reply numbers.

1 out of 100, REALLY must try harder.

  Regards?  Ian.

Take Model Engineer and Model Engineers' Workshop magazines for a trial run here.

   Go on then.

I agree Ian,

All very frustrating in what would be a wonderful resource if it all worked!!!  I don't get the overlaps in Firefox 3.6 but I can't take the digital editions for a trial run as Ian has shown.

And wouldn't it be great to be able to delete duplicate postings. Especially after the fiasco of 'page unavailable' error this weekend which led to multiple dual postings all over the forum threads by all sorts of members.

Hi There
Will try and get this sorted.
No reason why it should not be working.
